With Delivery Timer, you can display the Estimated Delivery date shown on the product in the cart and checkout. It will display under the product it is relevant to.
This is particularly helpful if your products have variable shipping dates.
Additonally, this attaches the date as a cart line item. It will be attached to the product on an order in the Shopify admin. It can then be surfaced in Order Confirmation emails and other flows.
To enable this, go to your Shopify admin and then Delivery Timer > Settings. Next, scroll down to Advanced and check the “
Add delivery date to cart line items”. You can optionally change the string if you require.
On the front end, it will expose the date as line item on the product. An example on the cart page and checkout:
This will not apply to historical orders or products already added to carts. Once enabled, products added to carts and checkouts going forward will display the dates.
If you only want to surface this information in your Shopify admin on Orders, you can check the "Hide on Storefront" checkbox. This does not hide the timer on your products. It will simply hide the cart line attached to the product in the cart and checkout on your Shopify storefront.
