On Page offers show on the product page. You can promote other products, variants of the same products or upsell to more expensive products.
There are 2 styles of On Page Offers: Button and Checkbox.
Button style On Page offers traditionally show on the product page underneath the Add to cart. They should output under the product’s add to cart button as this is “buy box” area on the product page. You can output them anywhere on the product page but we advise directly below the Add to Cart buttons.
If a product being offered has variants then a modal will show allowing the customer to select the variant. These are passive offers as they require the customer to engage with them. You can change the default product title on the offered products to a Call To Action or “CTA” to invite customer engagement.
Checkbox style offers operate slightly differently. They are only added to the cart after the product pages’s add to cart is clicked and they are checked.
We advise these to be placed above the product pages’s Add to cart button. This is because they are added when the products Add to Cart is clicked so we want to present these to the customer before the Add to Cart button.
These are passive offers as they require the customer to check the box for each upsell. You can change the default product title on the offered products to a Call To Action or “CTA” to invite customer engagement.
You can show up-to 8 products on a single On Page offer but we suggest no more than 3. You don’t want to give customers too much choice otherwise they end up not picking anything at all. If you chose to show more than 3 products, you can enable Compact mode to collapse the On Page offers with a view more button.
