Post Purchase Upsell

SellUp allows for merchants to create Post Purchase Upsells. These can show on the Thank You Page and Order Status.

If you previously used Post Purchase before moving to Checkout Extensibility, you will need to configure the widget blocks

What are they?

 

Thank You and Order Status Offers are great in securing instant repeat orders from logged in users who have just checked out. You can show an ultra tempting offer with an urgency based countdown to hopefully secure another instant order.

These offers will take the customer (who has already checked out) back to the product or collection in the offer which would then result in a separate order if they checked out again.

How to setup

 Step 1) Create an offer

Navigate to Post Purchase from the bottom of the SellUp Dashboard. Next, create your offer and click "Save". Additionally, make sure you have "Enabled" the post purchase feature in the same section.



Step 2) Position the Block in Thank you and/or Order Status. Make sure you save the block position once done. If you get a string error, make sure you completed the previous step correctly.


Add to Thank you page


Add to Order Status page



Check a Post Purchase Upsell is active


If you have created a Post Purchase Upsell and wish to check it, you can do so by simply viewing the Thank You page on any order.

To do this, navigate to Orders in Shopify Dashboard.

Simply click on an Order. Once you have the order up, click More Actions and View the Order Status Page.
