Funnels allow you to “chain” multiple Action offers together and show a funnel of offers to your customers on a particular product. These are great if you have a few products that are extremely related to the trigger product. Showing extremely related products to the trigger product can result in a high take rate.
You should not use funnels to just upsell general, unrelated products. This would result in a low take rate.
In the image below, you will see it says offer 1/2. This means that there are 2 active offers that are shown to the customer after they have added the trigger product (The golf club) to their basket. In this example, a Golf bag is shown, the customer can add this or click next.
After either clicking “Next” or Adding the offered product to their cart, they are shown the next offer. The customer can again choose to add this irrestiable offer their basket or click continue.
As this is the last offer, the popup will then close and they will continue with their session.
To manage your funnels, simply navigate to SellUp > Action Offers and then click the “Manage Funnels”link.
Next, you simply type in the name of a product and it will show you any Action Offers you have for that product. You can then chose to sort the order on which they will appear.
A funnel can only have 1 Action Offer with “Upsell” type. This will always show first in the chain, you can then arrange any of the other Action offers in any particular order you require
If you have no Action offers created from the product, you can create them and then come back to the Manage Funnel tool to sort them if required.
