What counts as a message?
One message = one AI response generated for a customer. Visitor messages and your team's manual replies are not counted and are free.
What happens if I run out of messages?
- Free plan: replies stop and the widget shows an “Upgrade to continue” card.
- Paid plans: replies keep flowing. Overage is billed automatically by Shopify in 500-message blocks at $15 per 500 messages.
How is billing handled?
Everything runs through Shopify; plan selection, charges, prorations, and refunds all happen in your Shopify admin. No separate payment method is required.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade and you'll be billed pro-rated immediately. Downgrade and the change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
